Christy Weller, Psy.D.
Clinical Director and Psychologist
I am a licensed clinical psychologist and the owner and Clinical Director of WellTalk. I have extensive experience in treating clients with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, low self-esteem, eating disorders, behavioral problems and life transitions. My clinical experiences are diverse and I have worked in a variety of treatment settings. I earned my Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Colorado, my Masters in Clinical Psychology from the University of Denver and my Doctorate of Psychology (Psy.D.) at the University of Denver. I completed my clinical internship at Metropolitan State University of Denver Counseling Center, where I provided assessments and individual, couples, and group psychotherapy to a diverse population of students. I then completed a post-doctoral residency at the University of Colorado on their eating disorder treatment team. I have experience providing individual and couples therapy at hospitals, college counseling centers, a community mental health center, and in private practice.
As my career has progressed, I have become increasingly passionate about the psychology of relationships. Relationships are an integral part of our human experience. They bring joy, connection and meaning, yet, as we all know, they can also bring emotional pain, loneliness and misunderstandings. I have received extensive training with renowned couples psychologist Stan Tatkin and his research-based method called the Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy (PACT), which emphasizes both the psychological and biological factors as to how we connect and relate to one another. My couples therapy approach integrates attachment theory (understanding how your past experiences relating with others, especially those from childhood, impact you today) with the latest neurobiological research on how our brain and nervous system impact our ability to relate to those closest to us.Prior to creating WellTalk, I worked several years in my own private practice treating clients with a range of psychological issues. WellTalk was established in an effort to expand the highest standard of client care within a private practice setting. Professional and competent care is of utmost importance to me, which is why WellTalk’s team of therapists has been meticulously vetted by me personally. WellTalk maintains a commitment to integrity, professionalism and excellence in all of the services we provide. Lastly, being a psychologist is a fascinating, moving and gratifying way to spend one’s life and I deeply appreciate all of my clients who have had the courage and vulnerability to allow me to join them on their journey. I am eternally humbled and grateful for all that each of you have taught me.

Client Care Coordinator
Tiffany has worked in administrative assistant positions for over 15 years and she knows her stuff! She loves working as WellTalk’s Client Care Coordinator and she prides herself on delivering excellent customer service and matching clients with the right therapist so that they get the support they need. Tiffany manages all of our scheduling, billing and administrative needs with professionalism, efficiency and thoughtfulness. She has been happily married for 22 years and she keeps herself busy with two sons, two dogs (her fur babies!), camping, boating, and waterskiing. She is an amazing addition to WellTalk. She helps keep this ship sailing and we are so appreciative.
Mr. Finn is WellTalk’s right hand man. The glue that holds us together. He is an office assistant extraordinaire. While he has foregone any formal therapeutic training, the innate empathetic attunement inherent in a Labrador Retriever inevitably shines through with every client. His temperament is mellow and he recognizes those clients who prefer space versus those who need some extra snugs. He understands the importance of sleep on overall mental health and snoozes the day away with unrelenting vigor and stamina. Finn thrives on human connection; however, food, tennis balls & belly rubs are very, very close seconds. We love him and we hope you do, too. However, no worries if large canines are not your thing. His schedule is flexible and WellTalk will happily accommodate for no dog office days.
